Antivirus Protection, also known as AntiSpywareProXP, is phony antispyware software. Antivirus Protection uses false security warnings to trick people into buying this completely useless software.
A computer infected with Antivirus Protection will experience a barrage of fake security warnings in the form of PC scan results, pop up windows and web browser alerts. All these security warnings are false, made to scam people out of their money. Once a person purchases Antivirus Protection the software will continue to issue false security warnings, but otherwise is completely useless.
