Total Secure 2009 is a phony security software, also know as a rogue anti-spyware program. Total Secure 2009 is designed to rip people off and scam them out of their money.
Total Secure 2009 spreads through the use of misleading web sites that pretend to be an online antimalware programs, scanning computers for malware. When the site is done with the fake web scan it will state that the computer is infected and that the user should download and install Total Secure 2009, a total trick, websites can't scan PC's. If Total Secure 2009 is downloaded and installed, it will be set to run automatically when the computer starts. Once running, it will scan the computer and display false results as a scare tactic to have the user purchase the software.
If your PC is infected with Total Secure 2009, you should remove it immediately.
