System Security

System Security is phony security software designed to rip people off, also known as rogue security software.

Once a computer is infected with System Security, the program will run a system scan and report multiple infections. These supposed infections are fictitious and should not be taken seriously. System Security will show false system scan results in an attempt to frighten people into purchasing the software to clean their computers. Unfortunately once System Security is purchased, the software is completely useless. System Security will also show false warnings and security alerts in an attempt to further frighten the user into buying the software. System Security may also hijack the web browser and show warnings while on the internet stating that the PC is infected. System Security will also prevent other programs from opening making the computer almost impossible to use.
