Soft Safeness is rogue antispyware, or corrupt security software that is made to look like legit software in an attempt to scam people out of their money.


Once SoftSafeness infects a PC it will run a system scan and report numerous infections, which are either non existent or false. SoftSafeness will display these scan reports and require payment before it removes the supposed infections. These system scans are just one way Soft Safeness tries to frighten people into purchasing this software.

Soft Safeness will also display continuous pop ups, system alerts and warnings stating that the PC is infected, under attack or not protected and recommends purchasing Soft Safeness. SoftSafeness may also hijack the web browser, display warnings on webpages stating the PC is infected and shut down other programs or prevent them from opening.
