RazeSpyware is a rogue antispyware created by Nelroy LTD. RazeSpyware is a fake anti-spyware application duping users into thinking it will scan for and remove spyware from their computers.
RazeSpyware is known to be distributed through exploits that also download adware/spyware on users' computers without notice or consent. Many victims report having their desktop wallpaper replaced with an aggressive flashing red ad for RazeSpyware that displays false warnings of spyware on their machines. The ad is used as a scare tactic to convince the user to pay for the program.
RazeSpyware will perform a free scan that reports false positives but will not remove the alleged spyware unless the user pays for the program. Removing valid files falsely reported as spyware could be potentially harmful to the computer. A newer variant of RazeSpyware falsely warns that the user is infected with a key logger named keylogger32.exe, another scare tactic to get the user to pay for the software. RazeSpyware is part of a family of rogue security programs that includes a similar program named SmartSecurity.
If your computer is infected with RazeSpyware you should remove it immediately.
