NanoAntivirus

Nano Antivirus is a phony antivirus software, designed to scam people out of their money. Nano Antivirus uses scare tactics to frighten people into buying the corrupt software. Do not fall for the Nano Antivirus scam, do not buy this software.

Created by the same jerks who created AntiSpyware Pro XP, another rogue antispyware software, Nano Antivirus can be potentially dangerous if left installed on a computer.

Nano Antivirus makes it's from PC to PC with the help of Trojans that display fake security alerts stating that users computers are infected and that they should download and install Nano Antivirus in order to protect themselves. The second method is through the use of pop-ups when visiting certain sites that state the computer is infected.

Once Nano Antivirus is installed on a computer it will be configured to start automatically when the user signs into Windows, which will cause the computer to run sluggishly and slow. Nano Antivirus will scan the computer and list a variety of infections that cannot be removed unless the user first purchases the software. These infections, though, are all fake and are only being shown to scare people into purchasing a license of the software. Nano Antivirus will display a fake Windows Security Center screen that recommends that the user purchase Nano Antivirus. Nano Antivirus will continue to nag the user to register and buy the program until the software is removed.
