OnlineGuard

OnlineGuard is a phony anti-spyware application to scan for and remove spyware from users' computers. OnlineGuard is a rip-off and does nothing even after the software is purchased. Do not buy OnlineGuard, it is a complete and total scam.

OnlineGuard was first distributed in 2007 and is a clone of DrProtection. OnlineGuard is downloaded and installed through exploits or under dubious circumstances without user consent or is manually installed.

When installed on a computer OnlineGuard will hijacks the user's destop and display exaggerated or false claims of spyware found to frighten the user into paying for the program.

If your computer is infected with OnlineGuard, we recommend you remove it immediately as it is a form of malware and is a security threat. Manual removal of OnlineGuard can be difficult because the software will try to reinstall itself continually. Using a legit antispyware or antivirus software is the easiest way to remove this parasite form your PC.
