Pro Antispyware 2009 is a fake antispyware software, or a rogue antispyware. Pro Antispyware 2009 is designed to scam people out of their money using false security warnings as scare tactics to get people to think they need to buy this software.
Pro Antispyware 2009 is made by the same jerks who make other rogue antispyware including Antispyware Pro XP and AntiSpyware 2008 XP.
Pro Antispyware 2009 makes its way from PC to PC via misleading advertising on corrupt websites the promote rogue antispyware. These corrupt websites pretend to be online anti-malware scanners (which by the way, scanning a PC from a website is impossible). These websites will pretend to scan PC's for infections and will always display a warning box stating that the computer is infected with a variety of malware. It will then proceed to tell the user that they need to download and install ProAntispyware 2009 in order to clean the computer.
When Pro Antispyware 2009 is installed it will continue to deceive the user with false security warnings in the form of system scan results, pop-up windows, and Windows taskbar security alerts. These continued false security warnings are an attempt to make people think they now need to buy the software to remove these false infections.
