WinProtector

Win Protector is a fake anti-spyware software, designed to rip people off. Win Protector is made to look like legitimate security software, yet it uses scare tactics to frighten people into buying the software.

WinProtector makes it's way from computer to computer with the help of Trojans, exploiting security loopholes on the internet. Once a computer system is infected with this parasite, WinProtector will begin displaying falsified system scan results showing scaring the user into thinking their system is infected. WinProtectory also uses fake pop-up warnings and may hijack the users desktop to display more fake security alerts. These false security warnings are a way to frighten people into thinking they need to buy the full version of the software to remove the non-existent infections.

If your computer is infected with WinProtector, you should remove it immediately. Click here to remove Win Protector with VIPRE.
