Antivirus Plus is a rogue antispyware software designed to scam people out of their money. Antivirus Plus should be avoided and removed from infected computers immediately.
Antivirus Plus makes its way from PC to PC with the help of false and misleading advertisements, convincing people to install the corrupt software voluntarily. Once installed, Antivirus Plus will be configured to start automatically, which will cause the computer to run slow and sluggishly. Once launched the program will scan the computer and report that it is infected with a variety of malware, but does not remove anything unless the user first purchase the program. Antivirus Plus will also display frequent nag screens stating that the user should purchase the program as well as fake security alerts stating the computer is infected. Furthermore, this program will launch a pop-up Window that pretends to be the Windows Security Center. This Window is just another advertisement trying to scare you into purchasing the software and should be ignored as it is not the real Windows Security Center.
